How is the treatment applied?

Topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) is applied to the area for 15-20 minutes prior to the filler treatment. A series of small filler injections are then given, the filler is then massaged into the correct areas to achieve the desired result. The filler itself contains a local anaesthetic, therefore the area being treated becomes more comfortable once the treatment has commenced.
These lines or creases can age the lower part of the face. This is due to the fact that they create the appearance of a down-turned mouth, which affects our overall facial appearance and also causes the jowls to be more prominent. This area can be treated with dermal filler, with anti-wrinkle injections or a combination of both depending on your needs. The treatment approach will depend on a number of factors and the most suitable option will be discussed during our initial consultation.
